The CEE Weekend is best experienced as an In-Person Weekend. However, if CEE Weekend programs are unavailable in your area or you and your fiancé are separated by distance please consider attending one of our Virtual CEE Weekends.

Catholic Engaged Encounter (CEE) is a Diocesan-approved marriage preparation program that provides quality marriage preparation in a weekend retreat format. The weekend is open to any engaged couple wanting to prepare for a deeper, more meaningful life together and who are considered “free to marry” according to the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church.
Catholic Engaged Encounter gives couples the opportunity to discover the deep meaning of the Sacrament of Marriage. It is primarily for couples being married in the Catholic Church; including Catholic couples, mixed marriages and interfaith couples. CEE weekends are held in many dioceses across Canada and in many locations internationally.
The weekend provides an opportunity for the engaged couple to spend time together to concentrate on each other and their future relationship free from the tensions, pressures and interruptions of daily life and even the stress of the wedding preparations.
